Vintage Angels Card

Click the vintage Christmas angels card to see a larger version

I love this pair of vintage Christmas angels, or should I say this angel and cherub combo. Although I enjoy using the traditional Christmas colors of red and green in crafts and handmade cards, I particularly like images that incorporate spring-like colors, such as the aqua and coral in this vintage Christmas card. There's also some red and green to keep the design grounded in tradition but the fresh feeling the main colors impart are like a breath of fresh air.

I'm sure you'll find this vintage Christmas card useful. It would of course be great for scrapbooking but it also can be used to make handmade cards or other craft projects. Another thing I've seen people post pictures of all over the web is the use of printed versions of vintage cards hung from strings, ribbon or pine boughs to form garlands. Some people get fancy and mount the cards on colored cardboard and decorate them with glitter but they also look great just plain. If you'd like to create something like that yourself, download my Free Clip Art Sourcebook, which has links to a huge selection of vintage Christmas cards -- enough to decorate your whole house! You can download it by clicking the ad in the sidebar. There's no registration required and the download is completely free.
